3 Games Not on Steam Anymore
We all have those games that we wish could have on Steam sometimes. I am lucky enough to have a majority of those games that I do want, and I even have a few that are no longer available on Steam. Now, I am not talking about games that have exclusivity, the games I will be looking at are ones that were at one time available on Steam, but are no longer. So here are three games from my Steam library that are no longer available for purchase.
Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason is a survival horror game that focuses more on the psychological elements of horror. The game has you bouncing back between two periods in which changing something in the past affects the present. One of the other big game mechanics is because this game takes place in the Arctic body heat and warmth come into play which adds another level of tension as you explore the levels not just trying to survive enemies that you run into, but also not freeze to death. Though no longer on Steam physical copies are available on Amazon for around $11
Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete is the follow up by Obsidian Entertainment to the original NWN by Bioware. The complete version contains all the released expansion packs plus the base game. If you like your dark fantasy settings with magic sett within the DnD universe, this is the game to get. With a different CRPG kind of storyline, deep character customization, choices that matter, a toolkit available to make mods, and just so much more. I can not say how enough how criminally under-rated this game is. It is no longer available on Steam, but the good news is that you can pick it up over on GOG, and it is well worth the money at $20, though it goes on sale quite frequently.
Sword Coast Legends last and certainly not least is yet another DnD game set in the Forgotten Realms setting. While this game didn't quite live up to the promise of what it was initially intended, as the developer N-Space shutdown shortly after its release. There are some impressive features like a DM/GM mode. The base game is quite good if sometimes perhaps a little too straight-forward. But if you have even a passing interest in DnD, this is a game to pick up. Also, this game is playable on Linux, so if you are Linux user as well as DnD fan, this is an instant buy. You can still find the game available on some grey market key sites, for around $15.00
